| Drivers and Insurance Information |
If the event involves transporting scouts to a destination by
automobile, and scouts will be riding with someone other
than their own parent or guardian, we must fill out the drivers/insurance
information on page two of the form. You can get this information from
this drivers list. It is acceptable to print this list and attach it
to the permit; if you do so, the BSA requests that you highlight the names
of those who will be driving (best guess). |
Troop 860 Drivers List*
*You will find that some names are missing from this list (it needs to be
updated). |
| Signatures |
The Tour Permit must be signed by three people. (1) The
Tour Leader must sign the form (in two places)
(2) A member of the Troop Committee (other than the Tour Leader) must
sign; (most BSA-registered adults are members of the Troop Committee) (3)
An "officially designated" Tour Permit Signer must sign for the BSA.
This link takes you to a list provided by our District. Recommendations:
- Contact one of the names on the list... and go from there.
- Permits can be signed "on the spot" at the
Cabrillo Scout Shop down in San Pedro. It is recommended that you call first to
double-check their hours and that they are still processing tour
permits.
- According to the District list, Tour Permits can be handled by
fax through the Los Angeles Area Council..
